TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Transportation announced that I-75 will stay open to travelers.
They say the flood waters have been receding on the Santa Fe River, and as of this morning, FDOT engineers and state meteorologists do not believe that the Santa Fe River will reach dangerous levels.
This comes after FDOT and the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced there was a risk for I-75 closing due to the river's flooding.
Because of high water levels in the Santa Fe River, US 41 and US 27 will remain closed.
Once these highways are safe, they will be reopened.
