BAINBRIDGE, GA (WTXL) -- A $10,000 reward is being offered for information about a weekend arson that damaged a veterans center in Bainbridge.

WTXL reported in May that a group called called Honor Sentinel decided to transform the space on Evans Street into a place for local veterans to go instead of traveling to Tallahassee for resources.

"They can come here, it can be a place where they can relax, they can hang out, they can swap stories with people who've been in the same situations," said Dan West of Honor Sentinel.

Calls to Honor Sentinel about plans for the center have not been returned.

Bainbridge fire officials and the state fire marshal's office are investigating and have not released any additional details.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1-800-282-5804 or Bainbridge Public Safety at 229-248-2038.
