LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga.-- The Georgia State Patrol is hoping to talk to any witnesses who saw a deadly motorcycle crash in Lowndes County on Friday.
Troopers say 54 year old Cassandra Davis was riding her motorcyle on Georgia 376, when 26 year old Cierra Hernandez tried to turn left onto Whitewater Road without yielding to Davis.
Troopers say Hernandez hit Davis, who was taken the hospital but died later that night.
According to officials, drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash, and charges are pending. GSP's specialized collision reconstruction team is investigating.
