WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The National Transportation Safety Board finishes their review on a Wakulla County accident involving a bus carrying migrant workers and a semi truck in July of 2016.

The crash caused four fatalities and 30 injuries.

The board found the bus driver did not stop at the intersection near St. Marks due to inattention, fatigue, and not knowing the rural roads in the dark.

They found gaps in safety regulations with the bus company Billy R. Evans Harvesting, and a lack in oversight by Department of Labor and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

The board found there were many injuries because of a fire after the diesel fuel tank broke.

The semi truck driver was not wearing his seat belt.
