WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTXL) - The U.S. House of Representatives signed the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Authorization Act yesterday, authorizing $18 billion for NASA spending in the fiscal year 2015.
North Florida representative Gwen Graham released a statement following the act's passage saying it would benefit the area, "since we first started exploring space, nasa has been vital to our state's growth. In north Florida, they play an important role in research programs with Florida State University and Florida A&M."
