North Florida and South Georgia Natives To Compete in Miss America Pageant

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL)-- Two women from North Florida and South Georgia will compete in the Miss America Pageant on Sunday, September 14.

Victoria Cowen, 21, will represent the state of Florida in the competition. Cowen is a student at Florida State University. She is a member of the Kappa Delta sorority and a former member of the Golden Girls. A watch party is planned for Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at 101 Restaurant to support Victoria.

Decatur County's Maggie Bridges will represent the peach state as Miss Georgia. The 21-year-old from Brinson is a senior at Georgia Tech. A watch party is planned to support Maggie at Crave Eatery in Bainbridge starting at 7:00 Sunday night.
