No Injuries After Fire Destroys Tallahassee Office Building

Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)--The Tallahassee Fire Department is investigating a fire at a local office building. 

Crews were called out to 1425 Piedmont Drive around 6 p.m. There, crews say they were met with heavy smoke billowing from the backside of the building. 

It took crews nearly 30 minutes to put the blaze out. No injuries were reported as the building was unoccupied. 

Officials believe the fire was started by a lightning strike. However the official cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
