TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Prom night is an evening that most of us never forget.
Many in our area will make memories Friday at the Night to Shine.
With all those guests expected to attend, organizers are asking for volunteers.
WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live this Friday morning with more details.
A lot of the grunt work involved with set up and decoration has been done, but that doesn't need the help isn't still needed.
Night to Shine offers a fun and safe space for those with special needs to have an unforgettable night.
Guests will get the full VIP treatment. There's a red carpet, crowns and tiaras, corsages and boutonnieres, limo rides, and what's a prom without dancing.
But with almost a thousand guests expected to come out to have fun and so many different activities there's still a need for volunteers.
Anyone who wants to join can still do so.
The volunteer activities range from being a buddy for the guest, manning one of the many stations, and making sure check in works smoothly.
If you would like to be a volunteer, visit the Genesis Church website at https://www.genesischurch.tv/ntsq-volunteerregstart.
It all happens right here at the Pavillion in the Centre of Tallahassee Friday at 6 p.m.
