TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- The Americans for Prosperity released its Economic Freedom Scorecard on Tuesday.
Florida residents can use the information provided by the scorecard to see what's important to those who represent them.
The scorecard shows results from over 43,000 votes on 59 legislative proposals, then grades them on key issues like welfare, wasteful spending, and tax hikes.
Officials say its a great way to see which issues matter most to state leaders and to let resident hold those in office accountable:
Chris Hudson of Florida Americans for Prosperity said, "We think it's an awesome opportunity for those elected officials to highlight the good work they've done in Tallahassee but more importantly its an awesome opportunity the citizen activist for the person who sends he or she to Tallahassee to hold them accountable for the votes they made here in the ivory tower.
