TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- New details have been revealed in an arson investigation in Tallahassee last month.
The Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations now has a description of a vehicle caught on newly enhanced surveillance video.
Alpha Foundations was intentionally set on fire early on the morning of January 10.
Investigators say the suspected vehicle is a '91 to '96 maroon Ford Ranger, a 2-door single cab.
The vehicle has a gull-wing toolbox in the bed and may have fire damage to the driver's side.
"When our investigators get to the scene, so much of the evidence has been destroyed with the flames," said spokesman Jon Moore. "When firefighters work to suppress those fires and get the flames out of there, it's also drenched in water. So, it is a battle collecting the evidence, and that's where our K-9 units come into hand, so the video surveillance is definitely a fundamental aspect of our investigation."
Another fire last month was recently designated as arson. WTXL reported on a string of businesses on Tharpe Street that were gutted by fire, including "Debo Sounds."
Investigators say there are no updates in that case, but they're looking into whether it is possibly related to the one at Alpha Foundations.
