TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - There's now a new place for the elderly to stay in the Capital City.
Mulligan Park Retirement Community in northeast Tallahassee has been open for a little over a month. Sunday, the community was invited to a grand opening.
Guests were able to tour the facility and meet the staff and management. Manager Gary Moss said even though this is the beginning, Mulligan Park is ready to make an impact in Tallahassee.
"Most importantly, what we hope they see is that they feel the heart that's in this building and the caring and nurturing staff we have and the wonderful environment we provide for our residents," he said.
Mulligan Park has more than 100 rooms and multiple floor plans. Management said there is still room for more residents. Right now, the facility is about 75 percent full.
