TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - There's a new political action committee (PAC) in Tallahassee and their focus is on electing people they believe best represent the community and who will put more citizen involvement into the local government.
You're looking at one of the latest ethics violation investigation meetings.
These current revelations inspired the new PAC, Moving Tallahassee Forward Inc.
While the founders of the PAC all have conservative ties, one founder says this committee is non-partisan.
"It doesn't mater to us what party affiliation they're from. We just want people who are fiscally fisted, ethically sensitive, and crime sensitive," said Brent Pichard. "It doesn't matter where they come from. if we get a candidate from any one of those sectors that supports those objectives, then we're going to do our best to get them elected."
The committee is still in its early stages.
