New Photographs Show Missing Florida Mom Alive and Well

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Officials say they are close to closing a missing person's investigation after being furnished with photographs that appear to show a central Florida mother and her baby alive and well.

Altamonte Springs Police Sgt. Rob Pelton said Friday that the final step to clear the case is to "place eyes on" 21-year-old Jessica "Elizabeth" McCreery and 7-month-old Penelope Hogarth. They have been searching for them since Tuesday.

When police visited the home they shared with 46-year-old David Hogarth, he failed to cooperate. Officers arrested him on drug charges after finding a grow house inside the home. Police said Hogarth's comments made them believe the two were in danger.

Attorney Mark O'Mara is representing the family and said Friday that he has spoken with McCreery and working with authorities' requests.
