GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners are unveiling a new mural this morning.

It's titled "Keepers of the Hippocratic Oath".

The mural honors African-American physicians of Gadsden County.

County officials say these renown doctors were trailblazers and innovators during their time, and they're glad their contributions to the profession and the community are now memorialized in Quincy.

The mural was designed and painted by Charles Johnston of Winnipeg, Canada.

It's now on display on the side of the Edward J. Butler Governmental Complex.
