TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee's newest movie theater will open its doors next month.

The theater will have 14 auditoriums, each with electric recliners, and one with D-Box seats, which move to certain moments in a movie.

The movie experience also includes a full-service bar and scratch kitchen, and moviegoers can eat and drink at their seats.

The company says it's found success in St. Petersburg and Daytona and is ready to entertain moviegoers in Tallahassee.

"It's going to be a different experience, and when you come in, you know, because it is different, you kind of have to learn how it works, but once you do, and you find that we're built for comfort, convenience and quality, I mean and the flexibility, I have to throw that in, because I love the fact that we're able to offer so many different things that you can choose whatever you like," said Troy McDaniel, Regional Operations Director of CMX Cinemas.

As for those ticket prices, they’re still working it out, but they say it’ll be competitive with the market.

The CMX Cinema is being built at the Fallschase Village Center - the same center as the Costco.
