TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is planning to break ground on a new surgical center in the spring of 2016.
According to representatives from TMH, the $250 million center will be 8 times the size of the hospital's Northeast Emergency Center at 340,000 square feet.
The "M.T. Mustian Center" is in the design and development stages of the project but it is expected to house 28 operating rooms and have room for 72 care beds.
The proposed location will be at the corner of Miccosukee Road and Medical Drive and the entire project is expected to take 30 months to complete once construction begins.
