WOODVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - In less than a month, a new gym is opening its doors in Woodville, just outside of Tallahassee.
Pearl's Training and Fitness is located at on Oak Ridge Road and Woodville Highway.
It's the first gym in its area and will give people living nearby a place to work out.
CEO Turelle Farmer says fitness has always been the center of her life and it's her mission to bring change to the community.
"More so than just a gym, I want it to be more of a fitness facility. To train, to come ask questions," said Farmer. "Come ask me questions I will talk your head off about fitness. So that's what I want my gym to be known for more than just fitness."
Pearl's Training and Fitness offers more than just a gym. There's one-on-one personal training, nutritional advice, sports-specific training and more.
The grand opening is set for August 11.
