TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - In Florida, 105 new laws have gone into effect.
That happened Sunday and includes restrictions on opiod prescriptions, school vouchers for students who are victims of bullying, and not allowing anyone under 17 to marry.
Sunday marked the start of the state's new fiscal year.
The budget that goes into effect has nearly $90 billion worth of spending.
That includes money for schools, health care programs, and the state's prison system.
