TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - More details are being revealed in the death investigation in Tallahassee.
Leon County deputies say the body found Wednesday had been there for quite some time.
They say the body is badly decomposed and right now they were unable to determine the identity or the gender of the person.
That body was found around 4 p.m. by detectives Wednesday on Westview Lane, near Aenon Church Road.
Neighbors told WTXL that this is typically a quiet neighborhood, and they don't usually see a big law enforcement presence in the area.
This is an on-going investigation.
"All the things add up to a bigger picture. You might have some information, somebody else might have some information," said Lt. Grady Jordan. "Those separate don't mean anything, but together they have some significance. I think that is what we are learning here."
We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
