TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Beginning next spring, Tallahassee flyers will have another option for air travel from the Capital City. Elite Airways is partnering with Tallahassee International Airport to offer flights to the cities of Sarasota and Vero Beach.
"We want to make sure that we can move our folks in the Capitol City to wherever their destination my be," says Commissioner Scott Maddox. "In the state of Florida, we have several major puzzle pieces that aren't filled in yet. These are two of those puzzle pieces, with the Southwest Florida, Sarasota, Naples area, as well as the Vero Beach, St. Lucy area. We're solving two problems with this announcement."
Flyers will be able to use Elite Airways beginning in the spring of 2017, just in time for Spring Break.
