PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the family of a toddler was found wandering alone in Palm Coast, wearing only a diaper.

Flagler County Sheriff's spokeswoman Laura Williams tells The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1PWlE5b ) that a couple saw 2-year-old girl walking in the middle of a residential street on Saturday morning. They took her to their home and called the sheriff's office.

The child told deputies she lived in the "blue house" so they started searching the neighborhood. A neighbor walking her dog led them to the child's home about two blocks away. It was a tan house.

Williams say deputies located the girl's parents, who didn't realize she was missing.

The Department of Children and Families has been notified.

Williams said Sunday she's not sure whether neglect charges will be filed.
