TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- An investigation is underway after a house fire in Tallahassee.

It happened on the 3000 block of Golden Eagle Drive around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officials say a neighbor saw the fire, and was able to alert those inside. Everyone was evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.

According to crews, there was heavy smoke and flames coming out of the roof. They did an "aggressive attack" to stop the fire from spreading. Firefighters were able to save the house.

The Tallahassee Fire Department and State Fire Marshal are now working to figure out how the fire started.

Damages are estimated around $250,000.
