KINGSLAND, Ga. (AP) — Police say a suspect in a North Carolina slaying has been arrested in Georgia after a police chase on Interstate 95 ended in a crash that injured the fleeing man and a deputy sheriff.

WTLV-TV reports Glynn County police and deputies in neighboring Camden County, Georgia, chased the suspect along I-95 for about 15 minutes Friday evening until he crashed into several patrol cars.

Camden County sheriff's spokesman William Terrell says a deputy and the suspect were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Times-News of Burlington, North Carolina, reports police identified the suspect as Antonio Francisco Guzman. Police in the city of Liberty say Guzman is a suspect in the Friday slaying of Patricia Casarrubias-Monica.

It was not immediately known if Guzman had an attorney.
