Naylor man dies in three-vehicle Lowndes County crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - A Naylor man died in Lowndes County when his car was hit from behind by another car Tuesday as he slowed for a truck in front of him to turn, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Allen Lane, 65, of Naylor died as a result of injuries received in the 9:45 a.m. Tuesday accident, troopers said. Troopers said the accident happened on GA 38 (US 84) approximately half a mile from CCC Road in Lowndes County. 

Naylor was transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Ava Latisha Hardee, 38, of Waycross, whose car struck Lane's, was treated for injuries at the South Georgia Medical Center, troopers said. 

Guillermo Cardenas, 27, of Ray City, the driver of the truck, was uninjured.
