(WTXL) — An Alabama's woman prayer closest was the only thing left after a deadly tornado came and destroyed most of her home.

The woman's home was almost totally destroyed earlier this month after a tornado came through Lee County, Alabama.

Jason Smith, a volunteer with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, was on hand to help with those affected by the tornado and came across the woman’s home with just her prayer closet intact.

Smith posted images of the closet on Facebook, where they are going viral.

“Listen to me please. I just left a family who survived the tornado in this house and the only left standing is this closet. It's the grandmother's prayer closet, and the whole family survived. Are you kiddin me!!! My God is awesome!!!” he wrote in the caption with the photos.

23 people were killed, including four children from the tornado.
