Fast food chain Popeyes will bring back its widely popular chicken sandwich later this year.
According to Bloomberg, this time they have a plan to handle the expected enthusiastic response.
According to Chief Executive Officer Guillermo Perales, the sandwich will return to 150 Popeyes locations and the restaurants are hiring 400 additional staff to handle the swarms of customers.
The product debuted in August and immediately stirred up chicken sandwich lovers online. The coveted sandwich sold out nationwide within a short time, and ruffled up some beef with Chick-fil-A over who had the better sandwich.
No official release date has been announced yet.
For now we wait.
