Posted

FAIRFIELD, N.J. (AP) — Two brothers wanted on attempted murder charges in Florida were captured after the stolen car they were in crashed in northern New Jersey.

Fairfield police tell NJ.com (http://bit.ly/1wznxET) that 22-year-old Johnson Bullock and his 25-year-old brother, Thomson Bullock, were among six people in the vehicle when a township officer saw it slide into an intersection. After running the car's license plate, he learned it had been reported stolen in Elizabeth last week.

Several officers responded and tried to stop the car, but the driver kept going until the crash occurred a short time later. The six people in the car tried to run off, but were soon captured and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Authorities say the Bullock brothers are wanted for an attempted murder in the Orlando, Fla. area. But further details weren't disclosed.
