Royal Caribbean sending ship fleet full of water, food and generators to Bahamas

Royal Caribbean says they're mobilizing their fleet to send more than 43,000 water bottles, 10,000 meals, generators and supplies to the Bahamas Thursday.

In partnership with the Bahamian government and The Bahamas Feeding Network, the Royal Caribbean is getting ready to send supplies to the country after it was ravaged by Hurricane Dorian.

The cruise line is set to deliver more than 43,000 water bottles, 10,000 meals, generators, and other supplies to the islands. They say they're "just getting started."

This comes after the company pledged to donate $1 million to help the Bahamas rebuild.

In written statement Monday, the crusie line said that “the Bahamas has been part of our family for nearly 5 decades. Our thoughts & support are with them during this difficult time. As part of our Dorian disaster relief efforts, we’re committing $1M to help them rebuild.”

Royal Caribbean also announced their partner, ITM, will be donating an additional $100,000. Click here if you would like to donate.
