DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL)--New details about a south Georgia crash that kills two people.

Georgia State Patrol troopers say 50-year old Maria Corpus was driving a Toyota Corolla west on Woodhull Road in Decatur County Saturday afternoon.

As she crossed Highway 27, troopers say she hit a gas tanker after failing to yield the right of way.

She and her passenger 33-year old Remy Garcia were killed. The truck driver wasn't hurt. Troopers say Corpus and Garcia were not wearing their seat belts.
