LEON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - On Saturday, March 1, 2014, the Leon County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) will host a multi-agency DUI checkpoint in the 3900 block of Woodville Highway. It will run from 12 a.m. until 2 a.m. and all traffic will be stopped.
LCSO deputies and officers from the Tallahassee Police Department, FSU Police Department and the FAMU Police Department will take part in the comprehensive roadside sobriety checkpoint.
They say they will be checking drivers for signs of impairment while looking for tag or license violations, seatbelt violations and verifying car insurance requirements.
