TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Workshop for Vocational Enrichment will celebrate 10 years of providing services for persons with developmental disabilities with their annual benefit "Movin' and Groovin' with WAVE: A 10 Year Celebration."
The '60s themed festivities will include tunes provided by a DJ, a costume contest, and a performance by WAVE’s chorus.
The event will take place Friday, May 24, from 7 - 10 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at Lake Ella. The cost is $20 for adults, and admission is free for children under 11. The ticket includes a BBQ dinner (with a vegetarian option) and a silent auction.
The proceeds will go directly toward WAVE, Inc. WAVE provides a wide variety of services for persons with disabilities with an annual budget of less than $25,000. For more information, visit waveonline.org or call 850-412-9279.
