(WTXL) - Mourners filled the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville to remember Heather Heyer.
The 32-year-old was killed when a car slammed into a group of counter-protesters at an alt-right rally Saturday.
At the public memorial service, her mother spoke about Heyer's desire for equality, and received a standing ovation.
Heyer worked as a paralegal in Charlottesville.
Her main duty was helping low income clients file for bankruptcy.
