MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - The Moultrie YMCA will begin a $500,000 renovation project to their 100-year-old building.
The new facelift will take 18 months to complete. The outside, lobby area, and hallways will be redone.
But the largest renovation will be made in the gymnasium.
The space will be converted to a sports performance center, adding artificial turf, rubberized flooring and state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
They also plan to open another location in downtown Moultrie in the next six weeks.
