MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - Moultrie Police are fixing up more than 100 bikes to be given to kids during the holidays.
The police say have been collecting the bikes since 2007.
Most were abandoned and some were recovered in arrests.
Police say none of the bikes were ever claimed.
Police got a court order from a judge to donate the bikes to the United Way Children's Cheer and Toy Shop for the holidays.
A handful of bikes damaged beyond repair were still put to good use. Parts were taken from those bikes to fix up the others.
