MOULTRIE, GA. (WTXL) - Moultrie Firefighters respond to multiple car fires at the Shy Manor Apartments early Thursday Morning.
According to the Moultrie Observer, four vehicles were involved in what appears to have been a case of arson.
Firefighters were dispatched to the apartment complex around 3:30 a.m. to a report of someone setting vehicles on fire.
The Moultrie Observer reports, a Ford Crown Victoria belonging to Devin Smith, 812 Northside Drive, Apt. 8, suffered heavy fire damage to the motor, hood, dash, seats, doors and quarter panels, a fire department report said, while a Chevrolet Impala belonging to Nicholas Edge, 900 Eighth Ave. S.E., had fire damage to the hood, windshield and dash. The cars were parked about 34 feet apart.
A GMC Jimmy belonging to Shartrellis Lawson was parked next to the Crown Victoria and suffered damage as well.
Firefighters say, Gasoline was poured on a Ford F150 a 100ft away, but it hadn't ignited.
No word on any arrests.
