MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - A Moultrie business owner has been arrested, accused of accepting thousands of dollars to build steel buildings then disappearing with the money without doing any work.

Grady Wilson, who owns USA Steel Structures in Moultrie, was arrested Monday and charged with theft by conversion and theft by deception, according to the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office says that a couple from Rentz gave Wilson more than $10,000 last year to build a steel structure for them but he never built it.

The couple said they were unable to get a hold of him after they gave him the money.

Since Wilson's arrest, the sheriff's office says several other people have  come forward and said Wilson also ripped them off.

CCSO says Wilson could face additional charges, and they are asking that anyone who may have been taken advantage of by Wilson to contact them or file a report.
