MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) - Experts are offering a new warning after a 5-year-old Moultrie boy died Wednesday from a pool accident that happened over the weekend.
The Colquitt Sheriff's Office responded to the pool in the 100 block of Tallokas Circle on Saturday.
Deputies said the child's relatives found him lying at the bottom of the pool after he went for a swim earlier that day.
The child was flown to a hospital in Jacksonville, where he died after being taken off of life support.
Experts say swim lessons can mean the difference between life and death.
