TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A motorcyclist has been arrested after crashing into a Florida Highway Patrol car.
Authorities say just before 9 p.m. Saturday, a Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the back of the marked patrol car in Hillsborough County, then fled.
The highway patrol says it later arrested 58-year-old Louis Anthony Paree of Tampa on charges of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash, careless driving and no proof of insurance.
The trooper inside the patrol car was not hurt.
