MACON, Ga. (AP) - Jail records show a 24-year-old Macon woman faces a murder charge in the death of her infant son.
Multiple media outlets report KaUndre Sharde Orr also is charged with cruelty to children. Orr is being held without bail in the Bibb County jail. It's not clear if she has an attorney.
Police found five-month-old Alexander Carr unresponsive when they responded to a 911 call last April. Authorities have said Orr told deputies she put her son down for a nap and found him unresponsive later.
An autopsy found the child had injuries to his head and body.
