CLIMAX, Ga. (WTXL)--Troopers are continuing to investigate a crash that killed two people in Decatur County.

Troopers say a Chrysler Sebring stopped at the stop sign on Bert Phillips Road before attempting to Cross Georgia 38. Troopers say the car failed to yield to an oncoming tractor trailer. It happened around 7:30 Wednesday morning.

According to the crash report, the tractor trailer hit the right passenger side of the Sebring.

Troopers say 35-year-old Heather Barlow was driving and 10-year-old Emma Barlow was a passenger in the car.

They were both killed.

The passenger in the back seat five-year-old Khloe Barlow was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the tractor trailer, 47-year-old Michael Mitchell of Grady County, wasn't hurt. No charges were filed.
