VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Crews in Valdosta respond to an early morning fire.
Fire units were dispatched to the 400 block of La Forrest street at 2 AM this morning. 40 percent of the structure was severely damaged by the fire. There was also heat and smoke damage to 100 percent of the residence.
Five people were displaced as a result of the fire. Red Cross is assisting those displaced. The cause of the fire is determined to be electrical.
