TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--More than 1,000 in Tallahassee marched for babies this morning.
The walk was held at Tom Brown park in Tallahassee.
It's all a part of the 40th annual March of Dimes event called "March for Babies."
Participants walk and raise money for the organization to support community programs to help moms have a full-term and healthy pregnancy.
Some core initiatives of the march of dimes to to promote awareness, advocacy and educate on the conditions that are life threatening to babies lives.
WTXL Abc 27's very own anchors Abbey Maurer and Greg Angel also participated in the event.
The March of Dimes is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
