LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB)--More than a dozen abused pit bulls are in need of a home in Liberty County.
WMBB reports the 15 dogs were found malnourished and chained to fences over the weekend.
Officials say there was evidence that dog fighting had taken place.
They are now in better care but Caryl Marotta, who took the dogs in, says she can't do it all on her own.
They are being nursed back to help in the former sheriff deputy's garage but she says they need more than what she can give.
You can contact Marotta at 850-643-7977.
