TALLAHASSEE, FL-- Florida Highway Patrol has revealed new details in a fatal accident this morning in Madison county.
Troopers said that the accident involved a single car.
They said that a 2008 Dodge Avenger was traveling eastbound on I-10 around 5:22 a.m. on Wednesday. At some point, the car left the road and traveled onto the south grass shoulder.
The front of vehicle collided with a large tree, uprooting the tree before displacing it to the east.
FHP said that the car overturned onto its right side before coming to final rest facing west. The car then caught fire, causing total fire damage.
