ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Two more people have died from injuries suffered in the weekend rollover crash of a church van in southwest Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Ose Elian and 62-year-old Gertha Petit Frere died Sunday, raising the death toll to three. A 20-year-old man, Nostra Damas, had died shortly after Saturday's crash. Thirteen other people were injured when the van from the Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Mission Group in Broward County overturned after a tire blew out and the driver lost control. Two of the injured remain in critical condition, including a 2-year-old boy.
The group was headed to Tampa for an event.
