STATENVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)-- Personnel from Moody Air Force Base respond to a military aircraft crash.

Sunday afternoon, 2 U.S. Marines suffered minor injuries after ejecting from their  FA-18D plane. They were taken to South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta for treatment.

The Georgia Forestry Commission assisted the 23D Wing from Moody with the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. The site of the crash has been blocked off and military personnel is on guard overnight.
