MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga.  (WTXL) - A lieutenant at Moody Air Force Base has been sentenced to 10 years in confinement for sexual assault. 

On Dec. 1, 2nd Lt. D’Andre Johnson was found guilty by a panel of officers on two charges of sexual assault. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and dismissal from military service. 

He was taken to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, where he will be held until he is transferred to a military facility.

Johnson was assigned to the 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron at Moody Air Force Base.


Airman from Moody Air Force Base charged with sexual assault

MOODY AIR FORCE, BASE, Ga. (WTXL) - A Moody airman has been charged in two different incidents involving sexual assault.

2nd Lt. D'Andre Johnson, who's assigned to the 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Officials say the charges stem from two incidents that occurred around September 2017 where a victim was incapable of consenting to the sexual act due to being too intoxicated. The second victim did not consent to the acts.

2nd Lt. Johnson is scheduled for trial on October 22, 2018.
