Moody AFB Airman Dies in Crash, Two Others Injured

HAHIRA, Ga. (WTXL)-- An airman from Moody Air Force Base dies after a car crash early Saturday morning near Hahira. 

Two other airmen were airlifted to Archbold Hospital in Thomasville and are in stable condition. 

"It is a great loss to all of us when we lose an Airman from our Air Force family. Team Moody and I extend our deepest condolences to those family and friends impacted during this difficult time," said Col. Thomas Kunkel, 23d Wing Commander.

The identities haven't been released until next of kin notifications are made.
