JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Monticello woman died Thursday when her car left U.S. 90 and collided with a culvert and then with a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Luejean Johnson, 69, was driving a car eastbound on U.S. 90 about 9:47 a.m. Thursday when she lost control and traveled northeast across the roadway onto the northern shoulder, troopers said.
Her car collided with a concrete culvert and then with a tree, leaving her entrapped and unconscious.
She wad pronounced dead at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
