APOPKA, Fla. - Authorities say a central Florida mother is accused of leaving her two young children alone in her car while she drank in a nearby bar.
Apopka police say officers responded to Froggers Grill & Bar Sunday afternoon after a worker called 911. The officers reported finding the children, ages 2 and 4, inside the running vehicle.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that police arrested 35-year-old April Renee King, and she was charged with child neglect.
King remained in the Orange County Jail on Tuesday.
She was being held on $1,500 bail. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
